Helpful Tips for applying for part time jobs.

Before going in to ask for work, stop and think what you could do to make a difference in your new job. If you “just need the money” you will probably not come across very well.

Don’t get your parents to ask on your behalf. I wouldn’t want someone who is scared to ask for a job. It is unlikely that person will be confident in dealing with the public.

Always smile and appear friendly. Practise this! It is crucial to have a friendly attitude to customers. I want to employ young people who can look at the customers and smile while serving  them. It makes a huge difference to the customer and it is good practice for later life.
